<div class="bbcode_quote_body">PC Gamer brings the world its first Deus Ex: Human Revolution review in the pages of its latest issue.

It's a something of a victory for Eidos Montreal as well since the PC gaming bible awards the highly anticipated reboot a score of 94%.

In an eight-page spectacular, PC Gamer's Human Revolution review calls the game "a dark, cool and beautiful revival of an incredible game." It praises Eidos for creating a game with a clear respect for the players that rewards original thinking and exploration.

The mag - which is with subscribers today - concedes that it's not quite as good as the original because thanks to a "slight shift away from improvisation and wide open spaces", which stops it "just short."

Regardless, Human Revolution is described as "the Deus Ex of our age, a genuinely worthy prequel, and a game that puts almost everything else in the genre to shame."

Not bad going. Not bad going at all.

Have a look at the latest Deus Ex: Human Revolution gameplay to get another shot of the good stuff.</div>

You don't have to know the older games. Since this game place before the events of all the other games.

Watch the Trailers I posted they do a good job of explaining the storyline and what the game is about. Might want check out the dev diaries to learn about the gameplay.

You will not be disappointed by the Deus Ex games. I will be picking the game up at the end of the month.

It will be Deus Ex vs Skyrim for RPG of the Year.

<div class="bbcode_quote">
<div class="bbcode_quote_head">Quote:</div>
<div class="bbcode_quote_body">one of the most intelligently written xbox 360 games yet. Things change not just to reflect action, but inaction as well. While early in the game the stakes are usually relatively low, by the end, some 25-30 hours later, you'll be making decisions that affect humanity.

Optional side-quests won't push the main plot forward, but they invariably add nuance and background detail to the global machinations that you're wrestling with.

Initial augments unlocks can be expensive, so you can't just impulse buy your way through the upgrades unless you're extremely naturally capable.

A dozen meathead thugs in a warehouse pose a genuine challenge in the first mission, whereas by the end you'll be flattening an entire phalanx of special ops soldiers with batman-style efficiency. Human revolution is definitely a slow-burner - it won't grab you by the cherries immediately and initial, pre-upgrade combat feels clumsy. A few hours in though, and it's wormed it's way under your skin like jenson's own tech tendrils and you'll be utterly gripped.

The huge two-level city of hengsha island in particular is absolutely stunning, with it's crawling, neon-lit undercity's skyskrapers dwarfed by the enormous platform above it. Apartment buildings, rooftops and sewers are all there to be explored, and the city hubs aren't just anodyne safe areas for tooling up either.

Voice acting is impeccable and you're still able to get a handle on your subjects state of mind based on their expression and body language. There are tense moments in more heated stand-offs where you're desperately attempting to steer the conversation in a certain direction without alienating the other person - as usual there's plenty at stake if you fluff it, not least a 10g achievement. (you get achievements for talking round certain people)

vibe is very much like splinter cell as you stick to cover, popping out only to lamp a hapless rent-a-cop in the face with your pneumatic right hook. The opportunity to improvise is something so rarely available in a shooter - here it's dished up in every single mission.

Criticisms are few and far between. A couple of story threads are never closed off in a satisfying manner, and characters that seemed important don't necessarily contribute to the games denouement. There are a few key decisions that we'd like to see have a greater impact in the endgame. There was also a potential romantic sub-plot that we'd like to see develop a little further.

Human revolution stands proudly alongside the best in cyberpunk fiction, in any medium let alone games - not least because the clash between pro and anti-augmentation lobbies feels like a plausible day after tomorrow scenario.

For those that were fortunate to play ion storm's original deus ex, know that this effortlessly captures the same tone, feel and sense of consequence, complete with fan-pleasing references and a storyline that slots beautifully into the fiction.

+involving, complex plot

+dramatic, beautiful art direction

+sophisticated characters

+satisfying stealthy combat

-some sub-plots left hanging

I agree with Revan. I played a good portion of the 1st and completed the second. Part 1 is epic. Part 2 not so much but still good. Part 2 is the only console game i've ever played that children can die.

This game is amazing so far and reminds me alot of the first. I love the tense conversation moments, I find them light years ahead of ME in that area. Besides it's a prequal so the story is all new. Go get it now!!!!

Plan out how your going to play the game before you start the game up. From What I can tell theirs no reset once you apply those points.

- Pour your Points into Hacking and Stealth Gear. Both come in handy later down the line.

One thing I notice Ammo is very rare at times. When you need ammo it's not their.

One thing I don't like is the recharge feature. Have to wait or consume items for a Single cell to recharge. If you want multiple cells to recharge, you must use items.

Just finished Montreal, Didn't like that level. It felt like Metal Gear Solid 2 to much, Boss fight was right out of Metal Gear Solid 4. Montreal has no Hud City, Like Destroit and Heng Sha.

Back to Detroit.

Just Wrapped up the game, The Game was amazing. The game does kind of leave you wondering, Whats going happen Next?

The game nailed the environments and the Score(Music). It was a nice touch they used the original Score from Deus Ex during the Ending Credits.

You will be fine, since it only for the director's Cut version. MS is offering the original release. Boss battles will annoy you in the original release. The boss battles were completely redone for Director's Cut.

So far, Game is much better then HR. That saying something since HR was a great game to start with. Love the multi level approach to combat. Also, you think waiting to long to complete an objective would be a negative, It sometimes give you an advantage.

Also make sure you download the iOS app. Scanning triangles will unlock things in the game.
