Fans anxious to (finally) get their hands on Batman: Arkham Asylum will get the chance to do just that this Friday when Eidos releases a demo of the game via XBL, PS3, and PC. Here’s a description of what’s in store complete with oddly placed words in ALL-CAPS:

The Batman: Arkham Asylum demo opens as the DARK KNIGHT and COMMISSIONER GORDON return The Joker back into confinement at ARKHAM ASYLUM. But things soon fall apart as THE JOKER gains the upper hand and springs a trap, setting Arkham Asylum’s occupants upon Batman. The demo offers gamers a taste of the fierce FreeFlow combat system, the cunning stealth of the Invisible Predator mechanic, and the feeling of becoming the WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE as they navigate Arkham Asylum’s imposing Intensive Treatment facility. Players can unlock character bios, as well as get a sneak peak at some of the infamous foes that BATMAN will encounter within the cavernous and macabre confines of Arkham Asylum.

We’re anticipating that this will be a pretty popular piece of content on the respective platforms…So, who amongst you will be checking out the demo???

In case you didn’t know, Batman: Arkham Asylum (http://www.batmanarkhamasylum.com/) hits retailers later this month.</div>

It was on Best Buy &amp; GameStop PS3 Display models. Unsure if it was on the 360 Display Models as well.

Might see it hit PSN Store on Thursday instead of Friday. Since Store updates go live on Thursday's.

I want the Maps from CE. I don't want to spend 100 dollars on a CE. Especially now that the batarang is plastic and not metal anymore.

If you like Batman or the comic which game is based off of. BUY THE GAME. I wonder how twisted game will get. Because the comic is one of the darkest and twisted Batman Comic you will ever read. Joker Does some F'ed up things to Batman.

First review went live and it said it's a must buy game.

*Update*

I will not have any extra DLC codes. Sorry. Not even going have any codes for my self Since I'll be buying the game from a different store.

DLC is suppose to hit PSN/XBL within 3 months anyways. Free DLC on it's as well.

Can't help with the medical Room. Haven't been their yet. If it's an area where you hang from above and slowly take out your enemies. plan out your attacks. Once you take a enemy down jump back up, So they will not catch you.

Theirs basically sections from Arkham. They throw in and have you score as much as possible.

First one is 4 Rounds with Batman or Joker(PS3 Only). They throw goons or Guards at you. Need to get 18,000 Points for a perfect Score. You get Extras Points if you are untouchable. I wouldn't try them until you unlock some of the rewards. Like double the combos.

<div class="bbcode_quote_body">the long-awaited release of batman: Arkham asylum (http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/142/14273491.html) is almost upon us, and gamers everywhere are salivating over the chance to control batman (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924128.html) as he fights his way through the depths of arkham. With the game fresh on our minds, ign comics took a look at the cast of characters slated to appear and decided to recommend some of their best and brightest comic book stories. Composed of both well known classics and obscure diamonds in the rough, the following list is the perfect way for gamers to prepare to take on batman's deadliest villains. Enjoy!

batman

any self-respecting batman fan should be aware of the be-all end-all classics such as batman: Year one, the dark knight returns, and the killing joke. That being the case, we figured it'd be best to point you in the direction of the quintessential tales that feature the dark knight and arkham asylum. If you want to get a taste of what it's like when batman is thrown right smack in the middle of gotham's nuthouse, look no farther than these classic tales:

arkham asylum: A serious house on serious earth

written by grant morrison, art by dave mckean

the arkham inmates, led by the joker, have taken over the asylum, and unless batman turns himself over to their deranged "treatment," they'll kill the facility's staff. Sounds familiar, right? The mark of grant morrison's seminal 1989 graphic novel is all over batman: Arkham asylum's core story, which is definitely a good thing. This is one of the most cerebral, thought-provoking and haunting batman stories of all time, and it forever changed the way comic fans looked at the dark knight's rogue's gallery.

the last arkham

written by alan grant, art by norm breyfogle

a criminally underrated story by one of the most criminally underrated creative teams to ever work on batman, the last arkham shares a lot in common with a serious house on serious earth without being derivative. On the trail of incarcerated serial killer mr. Zsasz (http://stars.ign.com/objects/142/14249081.html), batman goes deep undercover in the newly renovated arkham to solidify his case. However, as batman quickly discovers, time in arkham is no cake walk, and the asylum's disturbed chief resident, jeremiah arkham, quickly forces batman to face his inner demons. the last arkham is not only one of the most disturbing psychological batman thrillers of all time; it also introduced the world to one of the most chilling batman villains in the form of mr. Zsasz. Hunt it down in back-issue bins and you won't be disappointed.

oracle (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924176.html)

barbara gordon spent her teenage years fighting by batman's side as batgirl, until the fateful day when the joker put a bullet through her spine and crippled her for life (see: the killing joke). After some soul searching, barbara reinvented herself as oracle – a technological wunderkind and one of batman's most effective allies in his war on crime.

batgirl: Year one

written by scott beatty and chuck dixon, art by marcos martin

if you want to know what makes oracle tick, it's best to go back and get to know her as the green-behind-the-ears batgirl. For that, search out this fantastic origin story, which masterfully lays out what makes barbara gordon such a strong, relatable character. Getting to know her as an up-and-coming crimefighter makes her post-killing joke transformation all the more remarkable. And with art by the amazing marcos martin, you're in for even more of a treat.

birds of prey

written by chuck dixon and gail simone, art by various

soon after establishing herself as one of batman's most valuable assets, oracle struck out on her own and formed a globe-trotting crime-fighting unit known as the birds of prey. With a strike force featuring the huntress, black canary and lady blackhawk, among others, oracle quickly became one of the premier heroines in the dcu. The series ran from 1999 to 2009, and any of the collected trade paperbacks should give you a good idea of just how awesome a character barbara truly is.

commissioner gordon (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924013.html)

although alfred serves his supper and robin watches his back, batman's greatest ally is without a doubt commissioner gordon. In many ways, the interplay between the dark knight and gordon has driven many of the greatest batman tales of the modern age. As such, most of the quintessential batman stories also provide a fantastic exploration of gotham's top cop. Seeing as how you've already read batman: Year one, the dark knight returns, and the killing joke, though, we'll point you in some other directions. You have already read batman: Year one, the dark knight returns, and the killing joke, right? Right?!

the long halloween, dark victory

written by jeph loeb, art by tim sale

a pair of follow-ups to frank miller's batman: Year one, the long halloween and dark victory both provide further exploration of the fascinating batman/gordan dynamic, proving that batman's war on crime takes just as much of a toll on his closest ally as it does him. If you're interested in finding out how gordon's rise to prominence mirrored batman's, hunt down these two trades.

turning points

written by greg rucka, art by various

bruce wayne's career as a costumed crime-fighter has been marked with devastating tragedies and questionable decisions. In 2001, writer greg rucka set out to detail exactly how those tragedies and questionable decisions impacted batman and commissioner gordon's relationship. If you're interested in knowing just how gordon reacted to batman's choice to enlist the help of an adolescent sidekick, his decision to hand his mantel over to a psychopath in the wake of knightfall, or his decision to walk away from gotham after the city was devastated by an earthquake – this is the miniseries for you.

joker

the joker is one comic book villain that needs no introduction. He's the ying to batman's yang, and arguably one of the most iconic, terrifying antagonist in modern popular fiction. Classics like the killing joke and arkham asylum masterfully lay out what makes him such a formidable foe. Here's a couple more:

the man who laughs

written by ed brubaker, art by doug manhke

the killing joke outlined the joker's tragic origins, but ed brubaker and doug mahnke's 2001 graphic novel finally gave comic fans a canonical account of his first murderous crime spree. Drawing on a number of classic joker stories from the golden, silver and bronze age for inspiration, the man who laughs details the clown prince of crime's horrific coming out party as gotham's villainous head honcho.

batman (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924128.html) #663: The clown at midnight

written by grant morrison, art by john van fleet

there are better joker stories out there, to be sure, but no single comic does a better job of fully encapsulating what makes the character tick than batman #663, a prose story written by grant morrison. Following up on his brilliant psychological deconstruction of the character in the arkham asylum graphic novel, morrison dives straight into the joker's psyche with disturbing results. If you're eager to spend a day in the mind of gotham's chief lunatic, hunt this modern gem down in either single issue form or as part of the batman and son trade paperback.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">

</div>

harley quinn (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924215.html)

introduced in the emmy award-winning batman: The animated series, harley quinn went on to make her comics debut in 1999 courtesy of co-creator paul dini. Unfortunately, the character's career in comics has never quite lived up to her time on the small screen – with one notable exception. For that reason, we'll point you in the direction of the one comic that truly does the character justice.

mad love

written by paul dini, art by bruce timm

after bringing harley quinn to life in their animated series, dini and bruce timm set out to detail the character's origin in their eisner award-winning graphic novel, mad love. The result was a hilarious, tragic and oddly moving account of harley's love affair with her murderous "puddin'"- the joker. The character has been made more deranged and deadly in the comics over the years – and she's sure to be an insane handful in the arkham asylum game – but she's never shined brighter than she does in mad love.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">

</div>

scarecrow

each of batman's villains challenge him in different ways, but jonathan crane, aka the scarecrow, is the one rogue capable of frightening the dark knight to his very core. Christopher nolan's batman begins definitely did the character justice, but there are still a few classic scarecrow comics that every fan should read in order to get to know the villain.

batman #455-457: Identity crisis

written by alan grant, art by norm breyfogle

batman hit an all-time psychological and emotional low following the murder of the second robin, jason todd, and the scarecrow was more than happy to seize the opportunity. This powerful tale marks the closest crane has ever come to destroying the caped crusader, and if not for the intervention and triumphant debut of the third robin, tim drake, he very well might have succeeded. Hunt it down in either single issue form or as part of the robin: A hero reborn trade paperback.

batman: Terror

written by doug moench, art by paul gulacy

scarecrow teams up with one of batman's earliest and deadliest foes, dr. Hugo strange, for a scheme that threatens to devour both batman and his beloved femme fatale, catwoman. Written by another criminally underrated batman scribe, doug moench, batman: Terror is great account of scarecrow's effectiveness at getting under the dark knight's skin.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">
http://comicsmedia.ign.com/comics/image/article/101/1017074/batman-arkham-asylum-readers-guide-20090821040255354.jpg
</div>

riddler (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924001.html)

batman prides himself on being the world's greatest detective, yet there have been a few occasions where edward nigma, aka the riddler, has almost proven to be his deductive equal. Though he began his career as a rather unassuming gimmick-driven criminal, riddler has evolved into a rather fascinating character – one who works for and against the law depending on which is more profitable.

hush

written by jeph loeb, art by jim lee

edward nigma is obsessed with both the batman and riddles, and for him, there was no greater riddle than "who is the batman?" in jeph loeb and jim lee's blockbuster 2002 storyline, riddler finally figures out that burning question, and the results are disastrous for the caped crusader. Riddler's discovery sets off an explosive chain of events that involve bruce wayne's troubled childhood friend, his deadliest villains and closest allies. Although not exactly the most well written batman caper of all time, it is entertaining, and brings riddler's character to an interesting place.

dark night, dark city

written by peter milligan, art by kieron dwyer

the actions of a centuries-old evil cult have horrific ramifications on present day gotham city, transforming the riddler into a murderous psychopath. One of the oddest riddler stories of all time, this hard-to-find classic by british scribe peter milligan is a firm example of how the english invasion of writers in the 1980's changed the face of american comics forever. Quirky, off-beat, and terrifying, this one's definitely worth tracking down.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">

</div>

bane

plenty of villains have temporarily gotten the best of batman (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924128.html), but only one can claim to have successfully broken him both physically and mentally – bane. Bursting onto the comics scene in 1993 with the epic crossover knightfall, the chemically enhanced bane proved batman's equal in every way, eventually crippling the dark knight and forcing him to abandon his mantel. To this day, he remains one of batman's most formidable foes, even if a lot of writers don't portray him as such.

the vengeance of bane

written by chuck dixon, art by graham nolan

this classic one-shot details bane's origins on the prison island of santa prisca, where he was incarcerated for the crimes of his father and eventually transformed into a monster. Transfixed by tales of batman told to him by his cellmate, a low level gotham hood, bane developed an unhealthy obsession with destroying the dark knight. After he was volunteered for a dangerous experimental procedure in which inmates were pumped full of a super-steroid serum called venom, bane went nuts and broke free of the jail. Fueled by the drug, he arrived in gotham and went about making his obsession a reality.

knightfall

written by various, art by various

this two years-long storyline followed bane's meticulous destruction of batman, and while it definitely overstayed its welcome, the first act – in which bane physically and mentally "broke the bat" – remains a gripping read. By breaking batman's deadliest rogues free of arkham at the worst possible time, bane forced batman to run a taxing gauntlet that proved too much for him to handle. Sadly, though, few comics writers have been able to carry through on the promise the character showed in this storyline, and it wasn't until gail simone got her hands on him recently in the pages of secret six that bane returned to his former glory.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">
http://comicsmedia.ign.com/comics/image/article/101/1017074/batman-arkham-asylum-readers-guide-20090821040258917.jpg
</div>

zsasz (http://stars.ign.com/objects/142/14249081.html)

in a rogue's gallery populated by costumed, gimmick-driven nutjobs, zsasz has defined himself through brutal simplicity. Simply put, he's a serial killer. Granted, he carves a tally mark in his skin for every murder he commits, but that's more of a sick compulsion than a gimmick. Above all else, zsasz represents what batman fears most – pure, unadulterated evil.

the last arkham

written by alan grant, art by norm breyfogle

we've made it up until this point without recommending the same story twice, but really, you can't talk about zsasz without mentioning his first appearance in the last arkham. This tale is zsasz's scary-as-hell coming out party, and it announced him as one of the coolest batman villains of the modern age – even if few writes have been able to follow up on the promise of that first story.

batman #493

written by doug moench, art by norm breyfogle

part of the knightfall saga, batman #493 is proof that, in the right hands, zsasz has the power to be one of batman's most frightening adversaries. The story sees the blood-thirsty psychopath take an all-girls boarding school hostage, with batman and the gotham police scrambling to put a stop to his killing spree. The way zsasz pushes batman to the brink of murder is brilliantly handled, and the issue remains a stellar highpoint of this uneven crossover.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">

</div>

killer croc (http://stars.ign.com/objects/924/924231.html)

most of batman's villains have had the chance to shine in the comics over the years, but sadly, there are a few characters that writers have inexplicably struggled to fully realize. Killer croc is one of those villains, as far too many comics writers have been content with painting him as a mindless goon with little to no personality. Other than brian azzarello's admirable yet ultimately failed attempt to reinvent him as a street hustler and pimp in his and eduardo risso's broken city, killer croc has never risen as a special character. Thankfully, as it did with so many others, batman: The animated series was able to bring the most out of ol' croc. Seeing as how paul dini, one of the masterminds behind the show, also wrote the batman: Arkham asylum (http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/142/14273491.html) game, we figured we'd recommend one of killer croc's finer episodes.

sideshow

written by michael reaves

this season 2 episode sees killer croc bust out of incarceration and find refuge in a band of retired carnie freaks. Though he's welcomed with open arms, croc is unable to repress his inner greed and savagery, and he soon turns on the very people that took him in. It's a phenomenal episode that imbues the character with more tragedy and pathos than he's ever enjoyed in the comics, and for that reason it's worth tracking down on dvd.

<div class="bbcode_right" style="text-align:right">

</div>

poison ivy

pamela isley is another batman rogue that has never quite blossomed – for lack of a better term – in the pages of the comics, but has enjoyed considerable heights on the small screen. More so than any other comic book story – hush, no man's land and suicide squad all came close – batman: The animated series elevated poison ivy to true a-list status. Here's another classic episode that summarizes what makes her a great character. And surprise, surprise – it's written by paul dini.

house and garden

written by paul dini

another season two highpoint, this episode sees poison ivy released from arkham, seemingly reformed and married to a doctor and father of two. Batman suspects she hasn't exactly put her old evil ways behind her, though, and sure enough, his suspicions are confirmed. Ivy's nefarious plan is disturbing, tragic and sad all at once, and it's another example of this incredible show doing more with a character than the comics have yet to accomplish. Check it out and see for yourself.</div>

The Insane Night Map Pack will be available from September 17th for PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, and the soon to be released Games for Windows® LIVE edition.

In Batman: Arkham Asylum, developed by Rocksteady Studios and based on DC Comics’ Batman license, the Dark Knight takes on his greatest challenge yet when he becomes trapped with all of his most dangerous villains inside the insane asylum of GOTHAM CITY - ARKHAM ASYLUM! Since its release, Batman: Arkham Asylum has garnered the acclaim of gamers and critics alike, achieving an average score of 92 from reviews around the world*, earning it a Guinness World Record for ‘Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever.’</div>

Strong has been doing cartoon and video game voice overs since the late 80s. Some of her roles include X-23 in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Rikku in Kingdom Hearts 2 and Sheegor in Psychonauts. She also voiced The Huntress in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated series.

Batman in Batman Beyond is Terry McGinnis, Bruce Wayne acts more as a Guide &amp; Mentor, Plus Wayne was in his late 70's in Beyond.

As noted in GameSpot's preview from E3, Catwoman is playable for only a small portion of the main storyline, with her narrative making up about 10 percent of the whole game. However, her abilities are required to access a number of unique Riddler trophies within the game. These trophies play into an optional side quest involving the quizzical villain.

In a statement issued to Eurogamer, a WBIE representative noted that "playing as Catwoman is not required to complete the game." A WBIE representative had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment as of press time</div>

That's because Warner Bros. has locked it behind an online pass-style code included with new copies of the game. Anyone who borrows a copy or purchases it used will need to fork over $10. That is, unless they buy it at GameStop.

A memo obtained by Kotaku reveals GameStop will include this code even with used copies of the game. Rather than be located on a voucher inside the box, it will be printed on the receipt. This has since been confirmed with GameStop stores.

GameStop often takes a lot of flak for not offering much money for used games and then reselling them at a huge profit. At least in this case, it seems to be the way to go if you're looking for a used copy of Arkham City.</div>

i've finally come up for air from playing this. i am loving this game. it might actually be better then the first.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

the comic is nice. it kinda tells the backstory/motivation for some of the characters. chapter1 is about hugo strange. he is "interviewing" somebody for a job. but he is really programing him to be loyal to him the mayor sharpe.

chapter 2 is about some petty theif and her plans to leave gotham. it seems sharpe and strange are rounding up every criminal and throwing them into arkham city, even if they've been clean for years. anyway batman helps her get out of gotham.

chapter3 is about the riddler. how he breaks out of arkham asylum (with ivy's help), and sets up shop in arkham city.

4 is about robin (tim drake version just in case anyone was wondering), and to a some degree harley quinn. harley wanted to "borrow" some meds from some other inmates and robin helped out. its also funny when tim and bruce have coffee the next morning.

chap 5 is about bane. he realizes how bad titan is and he wants to destroy it. which is actually one of your side mission in the game. if you want scans, i dont mind scanning it.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

i also like how you can scan riddler trophies and they will be marked on your map so you'll know were they're at when you get the right gadget. this includes the regular and catwoman trophies.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />
speaking of gadgets, there are loads more to play with this go round. so far i already got nine different ones. and yes you can us them in battle. and your suppose to if you want to solve all of riddler's problems.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

speaking of riddler's riddles, they are still there and they are harder. so is getting the trophies. you also have teeth, balloons, pengiuns, cameras and i thing teddy bears to take out. plus with all the trophies, riddles, and items you still got to solves his clues so you can locate his hostages.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

and for someone who you only play with a total of FOUR times throughout the game, catwoman sure has a lot of trophies and puzzles. after you resuce her, they split up and so far the bat and the cat havent gotten back together. she has her own storyline and everything. you can even select her story from the main menu so you can just play her part, but only after you've played them ingame. dont know how they would work if you beat the game then get her as dlc. also you get achivements for beating her missions, so if you get the game used and don't get the dlc so you wont get the full 1000 points for this game?

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />
the side mission are nice and varied. they have you looking for an assassin, tracing the calls of a cetain crazy person, protecting the more harmless prisoners of arkham city. and no that's not all of them.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

random stuff:

batman suit is already torn and holey. but the cape is still perfect.

robin is a hottie, but where's nightwing?

catwoman is so overly sexual, i felt like smoking after playing with her. not that i'm complaining.

its kinda creepy to get voicemails from the joker. not the voicemails themselves, but just the fact he's calling you.

i never knew just how crazy and blood thristy the pengiun is, i like it.

Don't like the hair style they gave catwoman at all. Catwoman has always had Long hair.

Pretty sure Nightwing is somewhere in Arkham City. Robin is not Dick Grayson(Nightwing), But Tim Drake.

i'm 72% done with the main story, but only 38% on 100% this game.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

the cape now has rips in it.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

here are two semi-missable achivements. both are only worth 5 points

<span class="bbcode_spoiler"> paying respects is the first one. you have to located where your parents were shot. first listen to the hugo strange tape, and check out the message next to his flowers. then on the other side is a red rose. go stand beside it, after pressing A put the controller down. let the camera pan you, untill the achivment pops up. it can take awhile but it should pop up by the end of the music. aslong as you dont touch anything.

the second one is the catch achivement. there is a certain someone following you, and you can play catch with him. the easiest way to find him is go towards the ferris wheel but dont climb it yet. stand on one tall stacks across from it and look at the very top. a man should be standing on it. select you remote controller batarang, and guide it over to him. he will catch. 5 points. then swing over to him. this starts the side mission.</span>

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

played my third catwoman mission/eposide. she has some nice silent takedowns. at the end of it, i had to make a choice and i'm guessing i made the right one, but i want to replay it and see what would happen if i picked the other one.

main story wise: maybe 8 to 15 hrs (and the 15 might be pushing it.), that's including the catwoman missions.

now for an 100% on everything, thats giong to take a long while for me anyway. the riddles are harder, the side missions vary from easy to hard, and there are more items to destroy. honestly i really don't think i'll be able to get all the trophies in this one without a major cheat sheet. right now i'm sitting around 60% completion and thats only with 3 of the side missions and the main story finished.

1. when i first started playing, everything was to shiny. like cel shaded shiny. i had to darken the screen for it to look somewhat right.

2 the game is glitchy. i've had 3 three freeze ups and one was only after about 2 hours of play. bad guys get "stuck" on and in walls, to the point you cant even finish the fight. you have to kill them with batarangs. which can really mess with you cause a couple fight are timed.

3. the button commands arent as responsive as i would like them to be.

4. the challenges are done ass backwards if you as me. instead of you completed them in any order you want, you can only do it in the order they want you to. so if your really bad at say doing a predator challenge without being seen, you cant complete the next one. which also won't let you complete the stat for world's greatest detective and that stat lets you unlock gadgets and boosts to other gadgets.

5. I like the fact that you get to solve crimes but it holds your hand in the process. let me look around before you take over the camera and point it at the next clue.

6. if you played arkham city, you already have half the map memorized. and not i'm not joking. you even go to wonder tower. i even found the place where his parents died from memory. i dont know if thats a good or bad thing. hell you even have missions inside the steel mill, police department, and courthouse.

7. yes i understand this game takes place at the beginning of bat's career (2 years into it actually) so why do we meet barbara before we meet dick? and why is she a 15 yr old kid?

8. all the faces for this game (outside cutscenes) are so bad its funny. you know when you go to the dentist and they numb your mouth to do something and your lips get if loose when you talk? that's how the folks in this game look when they talk. thanks why everyone in the entire (outside a name character) has a mask on.

9. he does have a few new moves but nothing to write home about.

10. alot of the puzzles are reused just with slight differences. the mad hatter is the new scarecrow, we did the trick with dude hanging above water, ok with the ninjas.

11. did i mention i'm already 60% done with the main storyline?

12. you have a in story moment as joker. lets just say it is very interesting. and we meet harley.

i could go on but i'll stop here. in all honestly i want to love this game, but i cant. if this game had came out first this would be a great title. but it didnt and it has some huge shoes to fill and it cant. i'm not saying the game is bad but its not triple AAA title good either. this title will not be winning any end of the year titles. i kinda feel bad that this was going to my last major buy before i upgraded. </span></span>

4. the challenges are done ass backwards if you as me. instead of you completed them in any order you want, you can only do it in the order they want you to. so if your really bad at say doing a predator challenge without being seen, you cant complete the next one. which also won't let you complete the stat for world's greatest detective and that stat lets you unlock gadgets and boosts to other gadgets.

</span></span></div>
</div>

7. Simple Barbra is more key to the overall story (aka Batgirl -&gt; Oracle). Plus their are many comics we met Barbra first before we even run into Dick Grayson. Remember Robin didn't come onto the scene until Arkham City. Where Oracle was their from the Start. *Small Note* Everytime I hear Oracle I only hear Ashley (ME3). One trade offs of having same VA.

12. Wait until the end with Harley. If you know Batman Origins you already know how it will playout.

starting to hate this game. had three freeze up two last night, and one today. some fights are unbeatable because the button responses are so late. and I should have listened to you, revan. Origins should have been done by Rocksteady. I know few sites have reported that Rocksteady is doing a silver age batman game. It's not to Launch until late 2014 or early 2015. It's suppose to center around Batman &amp; Joker first meeting.

chareece
11-05-2013, 02:03 PM
finally started playing this again after the update. so far its good. no freezing, no bad guys stuck on invisable corners. the button respones are better. i'm still glad i never got the corrupted save file.

----

was looking at the stats for this game. i'm only 33% done with this game but i have a 100% on the main story. for some reason that just seems odd to me. one of the collectibles i hateis the anarchy sysmbols. there really is no way to know where they are. you just have to glide around town with detective mode on and hope you see one.

----

another interesting stat: i got the avvie for world's greatest detective but only completed 66% of the case files. atleast in AA you had to solve everything. also got the avvie for a free flow combo of 50. i thought i wasnt going to make it for a minute there. i kept getting hit around the 45 mark.

chareece
11-12-2013, 12:18 PM
i'm starting to think this game was made up of only side missions and challege maps. im not even 40% done with everything. and i hate the fact that you tell you that you have to deal with assassins but yet two of them arent even in the main story line and are part of side missions.

<hr class="bbcode_rule" />

still getting glitches. the last major side mission has you recapturing escape cons from blackgate. so i go the the location of the first one beat the crap out of him, but it never gives me the option to turn him in to gordon. i ran all over that square for a good ten mins trying to get it to activate and it would not do it. i had to restart the game for it to work right.

Another reason why RockSteady game is still better. Atlease when their game was release it wasn't broken. It is expensive to patch games for Xbox games. It's one reason why BioWare stopped patching Mass Effect 3. Which annoyed me since one patch broke the game even more and they never fixed the issue.

It's better then the UK's and specially AU ratings. More games have been showing nudity as of recently (The Order 1886, GTA V, Dragon Age, etc...). Really surprised with Dragon Age, Since BioWare has always been PG-13 when it came to the romances.

Our country is backwards plain and simple.

<blockquote>The latest Batman Arkham Knight trailer, which aired on Wednesday and showcased the game's squad of supervillains, contains a trio of secret codes that had triggered a frenzy of debate on social media and fan sites.

Onlookers spotted the first two numbers rather easily. The first, at 0:25, reads "pPL2a3Mn Ppi3mAMpyL2," while the second (appearing at 1:47) reads "c Rcn3n3 N2Jn3tjHn2."

Then, it emerged that the Arkham Knight website had updated, this time with code input options. Entering an incorrect code returns the phrase, "Incorrect password. Please locate cipher." Entering one of the codes found in the trailer, however, returns the phrase "Please decode cipher instructions and use elsewhere."

This led many people, including fans who had gathered on a Reddit thread, to begin deciphering the codes, and hunt for the third.

How the two codes became cracked, how the third code was found, and the resulting rewards, can be found below in the spoiler text.

The third code was hard to spot, but eventually found seven seconds into the trailer. Then, one Reddit user managed to crack the code by noticing that the letters in each one would spell out a character's name, which when lined up with the alphabet in a certain pattern, decodes three clues.

Each of these clues refer to lines of dialogue and locations in Arkham Asylum. So, the code which contained letters of the name Harley Quinn, once decoded, would return the clue "her first line." Harley Quinn's first line in Arkham Asylum is "yeah right," which is the correct password for the website.

The remaining passwords, and the detective work required to crack them, can be found here. Each password, once entered onto the Arkham Knight website, returns bios on three of the villains, including the game's main antagonist, Scarecrow.

As shown on the Batman: Arkham Knight Amazon page (via Cinemablend) the exclusive DLC will allow players who pre-order the game to assume the role of Harley Quinn and "wreak havoc inside the Bldhaven Police Department."

The DLC pack's story will take place prior to the events of Arkham Knight, and tasks Quinn with the goal of infiltrating Bldhaven in order to rescue Poison Ivy. The Harley Quinn DLC was first announced in July last year, and will include four challenge maps that will allow you to play as the jester and "utilize her unique weapons, gadgets, and abilities."

Arkham has always followed the comics. It was pretty obvious who Batgirl was going to be.
